Are you a bridge builder or a bridge burner?

When I was in my 20’s I was definitely a bridge burner; I’d decide I wanted to do something big, like give up my job and travel around Australia, so I’d tell my boss and my work colleagues that was my plan, thereby burning my employment bridge behind me so I had no option but to keep on heading in that direction.

But it’s not the only way, sometimes those bridges are still needed, not just to go back but to bring up supplies from the rear.

As I get older and new dreams are dreamt, the bridges remain. Some to be taken down, some to remain standing because I know from experience that not all bridges have to fall down.
