We look, we see, we dream

The thing is, we all want something we think don’t have.

  • Freedom.
  • Security.
  • Happiness.

We convince ourselves that we have no choice and that our work gives us an alternative; a regular wage, a reliable job, enough money to take holidays, buy stuff, drink stuff, eat stuff. But who are we kidding? Only ourselves. But that’s often enough, just to get through life, because it’s really not that bad compared to many others, and what choice do we have anyway? So we keep on keeping on and then one day we’re old, and we look back, and we wonder, and we dream, if only…..

Still so much to dream and do.

But then when we have the opportunity, to make a choice, to leave it all behind, will we have the guts to give up the perceived security and happiness that our work gives us, and go do, go travelling to the amazing places that we’ve dreamt about, go live our lives, so that when we’re old, and we look back, and we wonder, what if I hadn’t?
